I’m planning on picking up a few MaxFactor cosmetics at the drugstore today & i was just wondering how much you like the brand if you have tried it. It would help if you could tell me how well their foundation, mascara, eyeliner, etc. work. Thanks!

I’m on a tight budget but these are some of the only cosmetics that don’t irritate my skin and I love them. But they are so expensive! Where can I get them cheap in Canada?

I recently got get even by benefit cosmetics and i wanted to know how long it should last for so i know i am not using too much?

Tanners or moisturizers, wrinkle creams or repair creams, sunscreens or eye creams, daytime creams or night creams, foot and hand creams, celluit creams…rnSeems like the cosmetic world wants us to spend all our time on creaming ourselves for nothing. Sometimes, I find myself drawn into the cosmetic world by attractive commercials like “Use this cream for your elbows” “Use this one for your eyes” “Use this on your celluits” “This cream is perfect for aging” “This body cream will make your skin super smooth” But then I realize I have the ability to’t do that for life! Man, it’s a lot of time and money. So, now I only use a moisturizer with spf on my face and tanner on my legs and arms in summers.rnI wonder what other women use and how they feel about cosmetics.

I want to use some cosmetics that are good for my skin and that are under $10, not too cheap but not too high-priced? Any Ideas?

Whenever he sees i’ve put on makeup (eyeliner + eyeshadow) he gives me a large lecture about how makeup is made. He says that water treatment plants “scrape the gunk off the top of the water and sell it to pharmasutical (sp) companies, and they make cosmetics out of it”. Is this true? If not, can someone tell me how makeup is made? Thanks in advance

What happens to cosmetics that have various packaging defects ? Are they disposed ? Or do they sell them ? I’ve seen some products (Mac,Estee Lauder) that have small packaging defects for sale.Out of curiosity I bought a lip gloss(Estee Lauder shine pops) and the quality & contents are the same as the original. Only thing is that the gloss color is differant from what is states on the lable. It says “Mellow Yellow” when the colour is actually “sweet nectar”. Has anyone else seen stuff like this ?
